Big week ahead as we get ready to list our house of the last 6 years that we have poured so many projects and work into! It has been a busy last few weekends doing last-minute fixes, painting, and scrubbing all the corners, nooks and crannies. So grateful to our family for all the extra hands—we could not have done it without you—and feeling all the feels as we get ready to say goodbye to such a special house and what was the start of so much for us!

My Cabin Weekend Must-Haves

A few things that are always in my bag!

A wet brush for taking care of tangled lake hair! My sister introduced me to this just a few weeks ago and I’m forever changed—cannot believe I bought this combo pack—one for home and one for travel.

A hat or head scarf for sun protection (my part always burns!). This one is on my wish list, to wear bandana style.

A Yeti mug for all the drinks—from water to wine.

Easy pool slides for quick trips in and out of the house for snacks! These are the perfect (waterproof) upgrade for the Birkenstocks I’ve had for years. They come in tons of colors!

SUNSCREEN! There are lots of fancy brands available at Sephora, but I like a basic, hard-working lotion SPF for the lake. I lather on this one for body (it has a little shimmer!) and this one for face!

Beach chairs (love this reclining style) so you’re never without a comfy place to sit.

I buy a new swimsuit once a year. This classic bandeau one-piece (in 11 colors) is on my wish list. I also struggle to find shorts I like, and love these for throwing on over my suit!

Oversized sweatshirt that you don’t mind getting smoky for bonfires (and bug protection)! This one and this one are faves.

You can’t beat this classic tote for hauling gear. Gotta monogram it, of course. You guys also know I’m a Clare V girl and I love this colorful tote as a fun twist on the classic straw tote.

Lightweight pajamas for hot and humid nights. Obsessed with this set and this nightgown!
