How’s your post-holiday week going? The good news is, we’re already halfway through! With Labor Day behind us, I’ve fully broken out the pumpkin spice candles and am embracing the new season. We’ve got some fun things on the calendar this fall and then it’s the holidays, so all good stuff ahead. 🍂👏
So, a few of the events I have coming up call for a dress: a bachelorette trip, a birthday party, a family picnic—and then a couple of weddings in October. I haven’t historically been a dress girl (always preferring skirts), but lately Reformation is changing my mind. Their dresses are so effortless, simple and pretty. And kind of the perfect mix of feminine and sexy. So many of them work just as well for a casual shopping weekend as they do for weddings, and that makes them worth the investment every.single.time. I’ve shopped Reformation in the past, but have never been so into their assortment as I am right now. OR maybe the assortment has never been this good. I bought this ink blot midi recently for either the bachelorette party or an upcoming rehearsal dinner, but I know I’ll get tons of wear out of it on weekends and even for work (with a long cardigan and ankle boots). I sized up because I didn’t want the dress to be skin-tight, and it fits well—the straps are adjustable which is great, and there’s smocking on the back which makes it super comfortable. You guys know I love finding brands I ❤️ and then becoming a loyalist/shopping them exclusively (ahem, Clare V. bags, Sam Edelman sandals, Zoe Chicco jewelry, Madewell jeans), and I think I just found my next one.
