OK, so I hadn’t really thought much about New Year’s yet—after all, it’s not even Thanksgiving. But I recently wrapped writing the January catalog at work and it made me realize that this new year isn’t just any new year. It’s a whole new decade. 2020! I mean, duh—but I guess I hadn’t really stopped to think about it. (Isn’t it wild to think about all that happened in your life since 2010 and all that’s to come in the next 10?!) I usually don’t do anything big or super exciting for New Year’s (the ultimate overhyped holiday, right?), but because it is a big year, I decided I should start getting some celebratory plans in motion. First up: the outfit. I don’t usually shop at REVOLVE—it’s trendy AND pricey—but no one does bodysuits better. I think that whatever my New Year’s plans end up being, I’ll probably be at a home somewhere (versus a bar), so I don’t want to get too fancy with a dress or skirt.
