Easter Best
Hello!
I hope you had a happy Easter weekend. We went to my father in law’s for a big family gathering, and I made this springy asparagus tart! It’s fun to have the opportunity to make something I wouldn’t normally put in the effort for when it’s just the two of us. As we inch out of winter (it still pretty cold, windy and gloomy here), Chris continues hammering away at the upstairs remodel. He’s working on building the sliding closet doors right now, and I plan to paint them this weekend. We are so close to the finish line! I also turned 34 a couple weeks ago. Chris and I celebrated with dinner at Marna’s, a cozy Costa Rican spot we both enjoyed, and I added this Clare V bag to my collection. 😍 TBH I was a little disappointed about not being able to round up any girlfriends to get together—everyone is so busy—so if you’re at a similar stage where you don’t have that go-to person to grab a glass of wine with, I can relate. Chris and I have been intensely following the Wolves playoffs run, and at night I’ve been winding down by reading Signs, a really interesting book written by a psychic medium about the secret language of the universe. Call me crazy, but I’ve been on high alert for my own signs! 🤪 Hope you have a great week, and please ask the universe to send spring to Minnesota soon!
